How to create certainty in uncertain times. Uncertainty has always existed since the beginning of mankind and the more complex the world will get the more uncertainty there will be!

Let me point out 3 ways to create CERTAINTY in UNCERTAIN TIMES :


The first is SHIFT YOUR FOCUS

The feeling of uncertainty is often caused by things beyond your control: economic situations, a death in the family, another person’s action and of course the pandemic. We thought in the last decades that we could control everything. This is impossible, anyway, did you ever try to control the weather? You know it's impossible and it will only lead to frustration. Don’t get me wrong, certainty is certainly not a blind trust in other people’s system, you have to create for yourself the idea / the attitude of certainty. So, shift your focus, focus on what you can control : your thoughts, your emotions, your actions and the fact that you focus will create for yourself the feeling of certainty!


SECOND WAY : RECONNECT WITH YOURSELF

A friend of mine said : “we’re so connected that we’re disconnected!” Stay calm, rested and emotionally strong. Take time for physical exercise. Schedule in your agenda time slots to reflect about yourself, your situation, your goals. In difficult times in my life, I surround myself with people who appreciate me, who see the best in me and my advice is : invest in people who emotionally invest in your wellbeing.


THIRD WAY : TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

The great Tony Robbins, when he talks about success says: “it’s not a matter of fame or money, it’s a matter of progress”. So, it’s very important to stay focussed but also to track your progress and don’t forget to celebrate victories, even small ones!
